about
In this exhibition, two artistic positions engage in a dialogue about structure, rhythm, and the dissolution of form — an exchange that unfolds between image, material, and space.
Mika Plutitsky explores the expressive limits of screen printing in her work. Through deliberate imperfection, material presence, and physical labor, she lends the mechanical process a sensual, poetic dimension. This year, she completed her art studies at the HGB as a Meisterschülerin.
Leon von der Lippe, a student at the HGB Leipzig in the Reinbothe class, works experimentally and intuitively with color and material. His paintings emerge in direct dialogue with the processes of chance and material movement.
